THE CHANNEL TUNNEL     A number of service pipes run the length of the Channel Tunnel. In order to prevent cracks developing in the saddles supporting these from thermal movements, SK Bearings designed and manufactured specialised sliding bearings which are installed between the pipes and their support saddles.
