- The surface onto which the SKE
bearings are to be laid should be smooth and free from sharp
projections.
- It is not usually necessary
to fix the bearings in place since since the friction between
the rubber and the support surfaces is ordinarily adequate. In
cases where the friction is insufficient (eg low vertical load
combined with large horizontal movement) some form of fixing
may be required.
