	SKG bearings are generally used in place of SKV types to provide a greater load carrying capacity. The precise number of SKG bearings, their configuration, plan size and thickness depend upon a variety of factors including design load, natural frequency and whether fail safe devices etc. are being used. Non-standard sizes are also available where applications fall outside our extensive range of standard sizes (although this is less cost-effective).
	As with SKV bearings, SKG bearings are always used in groups for improved performance and easier installation. See dimensions (above) for some typical examples.
